This masterclass is designed to help you overcome the frustrations of inconsistent studio lighting and ineffective techniques. You’ll learn how to confidently use studio equipment, master modifier choices, and differentiate your work with colorful, creative lighting techniques that will set you apart. PART I | 9:00–11:00 AM
We’ll kick off the day with a deep dive into studio essentials – everything you need to build powerful setups without overcomplicating your gear.
You’ll learn how to prepare for a maternity session from start to finish – from selecting the right styling and colors, to setting the mood on set.
I’ll guide you through my go-to posing techniques that flatter every body shape and help your clients feel confident.
We’ll also break down lighting theory in a super approachable way, and explore how different modifiers impact your final look.
PART II | 11:00 AM– 12:00 AM
Styling Session with Shtooka Atelier Learn how to style maternity models with confidence and creativity. Paulina from Shtooka Atelier will show you how to refresh outfits, add bold details, and create looks that elevate your photos. You’ll also get to work with her exclusive wardrobe, headpieces, and jewelry—available to use and purchase on-site.
PART III | 12:30 AM–4:30 PM
Time to shoot! You’ll photograph two models across five (or more!) lighting setups, from classic white light to bold gel lighting and creative color mixing.
This is your chance to experiment with multiple styles – all under my guidance – and start building a portfolio that really stands out.
PART IV | 4:30–5:30 PM
We’ll wrap up the day with a live editing session, where I’ll show you my Evoto, Lightroom and Photoshop workflow step-by-step.
You’ll see how I retouch maternity portraits for a polished yet natural finish (note: I won’t be sharing presets or actions – this is all about learning the craft).
All payments are non-refundable, unless your seat is transferred to another photographer under the same terms and with prior agreement.
